Financial Services Company – Autonomy Interwoven Assessment

Business Challenges

  • Interwoven TeamSite platform components (i.e. event subsystem) not functioning properly and negatively impacting other systems and applications.
  • Nightly backup process design required multiple hour downtime window.
  • No concrete performance baseline existed to monitor system efficiency and identify potential issues.

Outcomes

  • Improved overall TeamSite system performance by 17% without adding additional hardware.
  • Identified a VMware ESX software issue that was negatively impacting performance of the TeamSite platform.
  • Delivered a set of quick hit activities identified in the assessment to provide immediate performance gains.
  • Created a baseline of system performance results for use in future comparisons.

Our Role

  • Conducted a "health check" on the VMware, TeamSite / SitePublisher, OpenDeploy, MetaTagger, and TeamSite Search environments.
  • Executed standard TeamSite performance load test suite against development, staging and production environments. Results were compared against similarly configured virtual machine hardware in the Klish Group lab environment.
  • Documented and corrected issues identified with the TeamSite, OpenDeploy, MetaTagger and TeamSite Search software.
